Scientific Profile of the Publication (Cluster): Law. The periodic printed academic journal Art of Justice is dedicated to presenting and disseminating the results of scientific research and the achievements of domestic and international scholars. It addresses fundamental and applied issues of contemporary legal science and formulates proposals for developing and improving various branches of law.
Publication History
The journal has been published since 2010. Until July 2025, it was issued under the title Scientific and Information Bulletin of the Ivano-Frankivsk University of Law named after King Danylo Halytskyi. The name was changed due to the reorganization of the higher education institution that founded the journal.
The decision of the Academic Council of King Danylo University regarding the renaming, the update of the editorial board, and the approval of the Regulation on the academic periodical Art of Justice is recorded in Protocol No. 8 dated February 27, 2025.

Academic Registration
By June 2026 the journal is included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, where the results of dissertations for obtaining the scientific degrees of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences, and Doctor of Philosophy can be published (Category “B”) (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Order No. 1188 dated September 24, 2020). Following the renaming of the journal, appropriate changes were made to the List (Order No. 986 dated July 8, 2025, Appendix 8). Starting from 1 June 2026, the journal has been included in the List of Ukrainian Scientific and Specialised Publications for a period of three years and has been assigned category ‘B’ (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Order No. 928 dated June 11, 2026).

Authors reserve full copyright over their articles. The editorial board of Art of Justice does not claim copyright over published materials. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to original scientific articles containing results of experimental and theoretical research not under review elsewhere. All materials are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY, which allows others to distribute the work with acknowledgment of the authorship and the initial publication in this journal. Within the scope of the specified non-exclusive license, the editorial board is granted the right to publish, edit, translate into other languages, and distribute the article in unlimited copies, in any form and format, on any media. All rights not explicitly granted under this license remain with the author. The listed rights of the editorial board do not constitute grounds for limiting any other rights of the author as the copyright holder.
Open Access Policy
Art of Justice adheres to an open access policy. All articles are made available indefinitely immediately after the issue is released. Full-text access to scientific articles is available in real-time on the journal's official website under the sections “Archives” and “Current Issue”.
Self-Archiving Policy.
Self-archiving (Green Open Access) is the author’s right to deposit the accepted version of their article in an institutional or subject repository with open access.
The Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) is the final version of the article after peer review and incorporation of all revisions, approved for publication by the editorial board, but before typesetting and editorial formatting. A Preprint is the version of the article prepared by the author before peer review and not approved by the editorial board.
The Journal permits authors to deposit Author’s Accepted Manuscripts (AAMs) and Preprints in open access. The deposited version of the article must include a clear reference to the published version, indicating: the full title of the journal; the issue number and year of publication; the DOI or URL of the publication.
The deposited version must not be altered in comparison with the accepted version approved by the editorial board. Any editing, modification, or reduction of the text after acceptance for publication is not permitted. Deposit is allowed in:
- institutional repositories of universities and research institutions;
- subject-specific open access repositories (including SSRN, EconPapers, PhilArchive, and similar platforms);
- the author’s personal academic webpages and profiles in academic networks (e.g., Academia.edu, ResearchGate).
