Aims and scope
Art of Justice is an international, interdisciplinary, and peer-reviewed journal.
The editorial office is based at the King Danylo University (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine).
Purpose of the Journal. The journal is intended to disseminate the results of theoretical and practical scientific research in the field of law. It serves as a platform for academic discussion, the exchange of experiences, and the search for solutions to pressing legal issues in both Ukraine and the broader European legal space.
Objectives of the Journal
- To publish the results of fundamental and applied research in legal science that contribute to the development of legal theory and the improvement of law enforcement practice.
- To establish a scholarly platform for discussing current issues of law and the state.
- To analyze contemporary trends in the development of national and international legal systems, including processes of European integration, globalization, and harmonization of legislation.
- To contribute to the improvement of legislation and law enforcement practice by preparing scientifically grounded recommendations and proposals for public authorities and local self-government bodies.
- To study issues related to ensuring and protecting human and civil rights and freedoms, and to promote the principles of the rule of law, justice, and legal certainty.
- To support interdisciplinary academic dialogue and the integration of legal science with other fields of knowledge.
- To foster international academic cooperation and integrate Ukrainian legal scholarship into the global academic community.
- To ensure open access to research findings and promote the free dissemination of knowledge and global academic exchange.
- To adhere to high standards of academic integrity, peer review, and ethical norms in scholarly publishing.
The journal is intended for academic and teaching staff, legal practitioners, representatives of judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies, other public institutions and civil society actors, as well as higher education students.
Committed to high publication standards and academic ethics, the journal is published twice a year. It covers a wide range of legal topics, with a primary focus on general theoretical issues of law and the state, modern trends in the development of legal systems, law enforcement practices, and the protection of human rights.
The journal serves as a platform for academic discussion, exchange of experience, and searching for solutions to current challenges in Ukraine and across the European legal space. It presents readers with new research relevant to the legal field.
Art of Justice follows an open access policy, providing immediate access to published materials and supporting the idea of free dissemination of scientific knowledge and global knowledge exchange for societal development.
The journal publishes articles in Ukrainian or English only. Manuscripts in other languages are not accepted.
The journal does not consider low-quality, previously published, or commercial articles. The editorial board does not necessarily share the views expressed by the authors.
